The Greater Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce held a networking event for two of its newest members on Jan. 25 in Englewood Cliffs. The event centered around introducing The Face Laser Clinic and The Training Zone, two Englewood Cliffs businesses that are members of the Greater Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce, which includes not just the borough of Fort Lee but surrounding areas. Although weather was a factor in the event’s turnout, a good number of people showed up to enjoy a 5-6 p.m. networking hour and a 6-7 p.m. presentation on one of The Face Laser Clinic’s elective surgery options.
The Face Laser Clinic is located in the same building where the event was hosted: 300 Sylvan Avenue in Englewood Cliffs. The Managing Director, Jason Lee, hosted the company’s 6 p.m. presentation on the clinic’s “thermage” services. The Face Laser Clinic does everything from facial lifts, to Botox, to chemical peels, hair removal, liposuction and Fraxel Repair.
“We do everything from top to bottom,” Lee said.
The clinic has more of a “spa” feel than the normal cold, white aura of a hospital, with a beautiful waiting area and relaxing music playing throughout the facility’s speakers. The plastic surgeron on board is the facility’s medical director, Dr. Steven Fallek, a twice certified surgeon with expertise in the face and body.
O’Donnell has been the owner for six months; he purchased the business from Erik Ten Cate, who is the presently the head trainer there. The Training Zone has a number of big clients, including Englewood Cliffs Mayor Joseph C. Parisi, Jr, who was in attendance at the event last night.
After The Face Laser Clinic’s presentation O’Donnell gave a short but sweet introduction of The Training Zone, and offered anyone in attendance at the Chamber of Commerce event two free training sessions at his facility.
Both companies have only been members of The Greater Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce for a few months. This was the first Chamber of Commerce event the companies attended. The evening was organized by the commerce’s president, Gloria Oh, who has known Jason Lee personally for quite some time and who knows Jonathon O’Donnell because she is a client of The Training Zone.
“I wanted to do an event in the beginning of the year having to do with fitness and looking better for the new year. I thought that combining [these two businesses] would be a great idea,” said Oh.
The next Greater Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce event will be in February.
